Art has always been linked to finance and this relationship is an exciting chapter of art history that is seldom mentioned, discussed or written about.
Working with jigsaws created a different use of image and text and a different way of working. The jigsaws themselves are unimportant, being selected only because they are jigsaws. They are exercises in patience, concentration and the passing of time. A manic determination develops to finish the jigsaw so that you can do something else with it.
Do we ever really consider a mirror at anything other than its face value?
