| Miles McAlinden was born in Goole, England in 1937. He has lived and worked in Norway since 1977. He was educated at Leeds College of Art from 1955–59 and the Slade School of Fine Art, University College, London from 1959–61. He has held 24 solo exhibitions and participated in over 40 group and collective exhibitions primarily in Great Britain and Scandinavia. He has executed 5 public commissions and his work is in 14 public collections in Scandinavia. He has taught at many art schools and academies in Great Britain and Scandinavia. |
