Ambiguity occurs where two or more images interchange and alternate for attention, where neither one image is more important than another, where the viewer constantly switches between one reading and another (or fails to see the ambiguity that exists).
The text was placed dead centre, as anything else would indicate direction, which would be wrong since everyone knows that infinity stretches in all directions. Or does it?
